When the rebellion broke out, Mr. Aziz Kessous, an Algeria Socialist and former member of the Party of the Manifesto, had the idea of publishing a newspaper, Communauté Algérienne, the aim of which was to transcend the twin fanaticisms that plague Algeria today and thus help to create a truly free community.
