And the names of the sons of Kohath are Amram, and Jezehar, and Hebron, and Uzziel.

The sons of Merari; their names are Maheli and Musi. These are the families of the Levites under their fathers.

And the son of Gershom was Libni, and the son of Jahath, and the son of Shima; 21. His son was Joah; his son was Iddo; his son was Zerah; his son was Jeathrai.

And Kohath’s son was Amminadab; and his son’s son was Korah; and his son’s son was Assir;

His son was Elkanah; his son was Abiassaph; his son was Assir; 24. His son was Tahath; his son was Uriel; his son was Uzziah; his son was Saul.

The sons of Elkanah were Amasai and Ahimoth;

And their brethren the Levites were given to do all manner of work in the tabernacle of the house of the LORD.

And Aaron and his sons were in charge to burn upon the altar of burnt offering, and upon the altar of incense, and to do all the business in the most holy place, and to make an atonement for Israel, as Moses the servant of GOD commanded.

And they gave them Hebron in the land of Judah, and the suburbs thereof round about.

And the field of the city, and the villages thereof, gave they unto Caleb the son of Jephunneh.

And they gave unto the children of Aaron the cities of refuge, Hebron, and Libnah, and their suburbs; Jather, and Esthemoa, and their suburbs,

Hilen, Debir,

Asan and Beth-shemes with their suburbs;

And of the tribe of Benjamin, Geba, and Alemeth, and Anathoth, with their suburbs: all the cities of their family were thirteen.

And the rest of the sons of Kohath of their family, of the half tribe of Manasseh, were given ten cities by lot.

And unto the sons of Gershom of their family, out of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the tribe of Manasseh, were thirteen cities in Bashan.

And unto the sons of Merari of their family were given by lot out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve cities.

And the children of Israel also gave unto the Levites cities with their suburbs, 65. Namely, by lot, out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, and out of the tribe of the children of Benjamin, the cities which they had appointed by name.

But unto the families of the children of Kohath were cities of their border out of the tribe of Ephraim.

And they gave unto them, even to the family of the other sons of Kohath, the free cities, Shechem in mount Ephraim, and Gezer.

ajalon and gath-rimon with their suburbs;

And of the half tribe of Manasseh, Aner and Balaam with their suburbs.

And to the children of Gershom they gave out of the family of the half tribe of Manasseh, Golan in Bashan, and Ashtaroth with her suburbs.

Of the tribe of Issachar: Kedes, Dabrath,

Ramoth and Anem with their suburbs.

from the tribe of Asher: Masal, Abdon,

Hukok and Rehob with their suburbs.

of the tribe of Naphtali: Kedesh in Galilee, Hammon, and Kiriathaim with their suburbs.

And to the rest of the sons of Merari they gave out of the tribe of Zebulun, Rimmono and Tabor with their suburbs;

And on the other side Jordan toward Jericho, toward the sunrising at Jordan, of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer in the wilderness, Jahaz,

Kedemoth and Mepaath with their suburbs.

The children of Issachar were: Thola, Puah, Jasub and Simron, the four.

And the sons of Tola were: Uzzi, and Rephaiah, and Jeriel, and Jahemai, and Jebsam, and Samuel, heads of the house of their fathers of Tola, and mighty men of their seed, in number in the days of David twenty and two thousand and six hundred.

The children of Uzzi were Jezraiah. But the children of Jesrajas were: Michael, Obadiah, Joel, and Isaiah the five, and were all heads.

And with them in their generations, in the house of their fathers, were armed hosts to battle thirty and six thousand: for they had many wives and children.

The sons of Becher were: Shemira, Joash, Eliezer, Elioenai, Amri, Jerimoth, Abiah, Anathoth, and Alameth: all these were the children of Becher.

And were numbered in their families after the heads of the house of their fathers, mighty men, twenty thousand and two hundred.
