upon the four places of the four feet thereof.
  • The rings shall be hard under the ledge, to put staves in it, and to bear the table; 28. And thou shalt make the staves of pine wood, and overlay them with gold, to bear the table therewith.
  • Thou shalt also make his bowls, and his cups, and his pots, and his basons, of fine gold, to pour out and to pour in.
  • And thou shalt set shewbread upon the table before me at all times.
  • Thou shalt also make a candlestick of fine dense gold; upon it shall be the shaft with tubes, and bowls, and knops, and flowers.
  • And six tubes shall go out of the candlestick on every side, three tubes on every side.
  • And every tube shall have three open bowls, and knops, and flowers: these are the six tubes of the candlestick.
  • And the shaft of the candlestick shall have four open bowls with knobs and flowers.
  • and one knob under each of two tubes, of which six go out of the candlestick.
  • For both their knobs and their pipes shall come out of him, all of them thick gold.
  • And thou shalt make seven lamps upon the top, and they shall shine one against another, 38. and light snuffers and snuffers of fine gold.
  • Of a talent of fine gold shalt thou make this, with all this instrument.
  • And see that thou make it after their image, which thou sawest in the mount.

    Chapter 26
    Building of the tabernacle.
  • The tabernacle shalt thou make of ten curtains, of white silk, and of yellow silk, and of scarlet, and of russet. And thou shalt make cherubims thereon artificially.
  • The length of a carpet shall be twenty and eight cubits, and the breadth four cubits: and all the ten shall be equal.
  • And there shall be five joined together, one to another.
  • And thou shalt make loops of yellow silk in every place of the carpet, where they shall be joined together; and two and two shall be joined together in their places, 5. Fifty loops upon each carpet, that one may bind the other together.
  • And thou shalt make fifty sheaves of gold to bind the curtains together, one to another, that it may be a tabernacle.
  • Thou shalt also make a covering of goats’ hair for a tabernacle over the tabernacle of eleven carpents.
  • The length of a carpet shall be thirty cubits, and the breadth four cubits: and every eleven shall be of the same size.
  • Five shalt thou put together, and six shalt thou put together: and thou shalt make the sixth carpet two in the front of the tabernacle.
  • And thou shalt make fifty loops upon every carpet, in their places, to be joined together at the ends thereof.
  • And thou shalt make fifty brasen haves, and put the haves in the loops, that the tabernacle may be joined together, and become one tabernacle.
  • But the overhang of the carpets of the tabernacle shalt thou leave half of them overhanging the tabernacle,
  • A cubit on either side, that the rest may be on the sides of the tabernacle, and cover it on either side.
  • Over this covering thou shalt make a covering of red ram skins, and over it a covering of badger skins.
  • Thou shalt also make boards for the tabernacle of pine wood, which shall stand.
  • The length of the board shall be ten cubits, and the breadth thereof a cubit and a half.
  • Every board shall have two tenons, that it may be set one against another. So shalt thou make all the boards of the tabernacle.
  • twenty shall be their number at noon.
  • And they shall have forty silver feet underneath, two feet under every board, by the two pins thereof.
  • So on the other side, toward the midnight, shall be twenty boards.
  • And forty silver feet, two feet under each board.
  • And at the back of the tabernacle toward the even thou shalt make six boards.
  • for this purpose two boards at the back of the two corners of the apartment, 24. That each of the two may be joined together with his place-board from beneath, and be joined together at the top of the head with a clamp,
  • Eight boards with their silver feet: sixteen boards shall be under each board, two under each
    board.
  • And thou shalt make bars of pine wood, five for the boards upon one side of the tabernacle.
  • and five to the boards on the other side of the tabernacle, and five to the boards at the back of the tabernacle toward the evening.
  • And thou shalt put through the bars in the midst of the boards, and gather them together from place to place.
  • And thou shalt overlay the boards with gold, and make the rings thereof of gold, and put the bars therein.
  • And the bars thou shalt overlay with gold. And thou shalt set up the tabernacle after the manner that thou sawest in the mount.
  • And thou shalt make a vail of yellow silk, and scarlet, and scarlet, and twined white silk; and thou shalt make cherubims artificially thereon.
  • And thou shalt hang it upon four pillars of pine wood overlaid with gold, having gold knobs, and four silver feet.
  • And thou shalt fasten the curtain with thongs, and set the ark of the testimony within the curtain, that it may be a difference unto you between the holy place and the most holy.
  • And thou shalt put the mercy seat upon the ark of the testimony in the most holy place.
  • And set the table over against the curtain, and the candlestick over against the table, toward the midst of the tabernacle, that the table may stand toward the north.
  • And thou shalt make a cloth in the door of the tabernacle, of yellow silk, and of scarlet, and of twined white silk.
  • And thou shalt make of the same cloth five pillars of pine wood overlaid with gold, with crowns of gold: and thou shalt cast them five feet of brass.

    Chapter 27
    Of the altar of burnt offering, the court, and the holy oil.
  • And thou shalt make an altar of pine wood, five cubits long and five cubits broad, and it shall be square, and three cubits high.
  • Horns shalt thou make upon the four corners thereof, and shalt overlay it with brass.
  • Make also ashpans, and shovels, and basons, and crucibles, and coalpans: all the vessels thereof shalt thou make of brass.
  • Thou shalt also make a fence of brass as a net, and four rings of brass in the four places thereof.
  • And thou shalt make it from under the altar, and the lattice shall reach unto the midst of the altar.
  • And thou shalt also make staves for the altar of pine wood overlaid with brass.
  • And thou shalt put the staves in the rings, and the staves shall be on both sides of the altar, to bear it up.
  • And thou shalt make it of boards, that it may be hollow within, as it was shewed thee in the mount.
  • Thou shalt also make the tabernacle a court, a cloak of twined white silk, on one side an hundred cubits long, toward the south,
  • And twenty pillars upon twenty brass feet, and their knobs with their hoops of silver.
  • And there shall be a cloak about the north, an hundred cubits long; twenty pillars upon twenty feet of brass, and their pommels with their hoops of silver.
  • But toward the even the breadth of the court shall have a cape fifty cubits long, ten pillars upon ten feet.
  • And toward the east the breadth of the court shall be fifty cubits, 14. So that the cloak had fifteen cubits on one side, and three pillars on three feet, 15. And fifteen cubits on the other side, and three pillars upon three feet.
  • And in the gate of the court shall be a cloth twenty cubits broad, woven of yellow silk, and scarlet, and rose, and twined white silk, with four pillars upon their four feet.
  • All the pillars round about the court shall have silver hoops, and silver knobs, and brazen
    feet.
  • And the length of the court shall be an hundred cubits, and the breadth fifty cubits, and the height five cubits, of twined white silk: and the feet thereof shall be brass.
  • And all the vessels of the tabernacle for all the service thereof, and all the nails thereof, and all the nails of the court, shall be brass.
  • Give unto the children of Israel, that they may bring unto thee the pure oil of the olive tree, poured out for a candle, to be put always in the lamps above.
  • In the tabernacle of the congregation, beside the vail that hangeth before the testimony. And Aaron and his sons shall prepare them, both morning and evening, before the LORD. This shall be for you a perpetual ordinance unto your seed among the children of Israel.

    Chapter 28
    Priestly garments of Aaron and his sons.
  • And thou shalt take Aaron thy brother and his sons unto thee out of the children of Israel, to be my priest, even Aaron and his sons, Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
  • And thou shalt make unto Aaron thy brother holy garments, that shall be glorious and comely.
  • And thou shalt speak unto all that are of a wise heart, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, to make Aaron’s garments for his consecration, that he may be my priest.
  • And these are the garments which they shall make: the shield, the ephod, the silk skirt, the skirt, the hat, and the girdle. And they shall make holy garments for Aaron thy brother, and for his sons, that he may be my priest.
  • And they shall take gold, and yellow silk, and scarlet, and scarlet, and white silk.
