And the heavens, O Lord, shall praise thy wonders, and thy truth in the congregation of the saints.

For who in the clouds is like unto the LORD, and is like unto the LORD among the children of the gods?

God is almost mighty in the gathering of the saints and wonderful over all who are around Him.

O LORD God of hosts, who is like thee, a mighty God? And thy truth is round about thee.

Thou hast dominion over the boisterous sea; thou stillest the waves thereof when they rise.

Thou smitest Rahab to death; thou scatterest thine enemies with thy strong arm.

Heaven and earth are thine; thou hast founded the ground, and all that is therein.

The midnight and the noonday hast thou made; Tabor and Hermon exult in thy name.

Thou hast a mighty arm; strong is thy hand, and high is thy right hand.

Righteousness and judgment are the stronghold of thy throne: mercy and truth are before thy face.

Blessed are the people that rejoice. O LORD, they shall walk in the light of thy countenance.

They shall rejoice daily over thy name, and be glorious in thy righteousness.

For thou art the glory of their strength, and by thy grace thou shalt exalt our horn.

But my truth and my mercy shall be with him, and his horn shall be exalted in my name.

I will put his hand into the sea, and his right hand into the waters.

And he shall call me thus, Thou art my Father, my God, and my stronghold, which helpeth me.

But now thou hast transgressed, and forsaken, and been wroth with thine anointed.

Thou destroyest thy servant’s covenant, and troddest his crown to the ground.

Thou shalt break down all his walls, and shalt cause his strongholds to be broken down.

All that pass by rob him: he is become a mockery to his neighbours.

Thou exaltest the right hand of his adversaries, and rejoicest all his enemies.

Thou hast also taken away the power of his sword, and hast not let him prevail in the battle.

you destroy his purity and weaken his chair to the ground.

Remember how short my life is! Why would you have created all men in vain?

Where is there any that liveth, and seeth not death, to deliver his soul out of the hand of hell?

Of the frailty of human life.

a prayer of Moses, the man of God.

O LORD God, you are our refuge for ever and ever. Before the mountains were created, and the earth and the world, you are, O God, from everlasting to everlasting, 3. who let men die, and said, Come again, children of men.

For a thousand years are before thee as the day that was yesterday, and as a night watch.

Thou hast caused them to pass away like a river, and they are as a sleep, as grass that fadeth quickly,

Which flourisheth early, and withereth soon, and is cut down in the evening, and withereth.

This is thy wrath, that we are consumed: and thy fury, that we are consumed suddenly.

For thou hast set our iniquity before thee, our unconcealed sin in the light of thy countenance.

Therefore all our days are consumed in thine anger: we have spent our years as a tale.

Our life shall be seventy years; and if it come to pass, it shall be fourscore years: and if it have been good, it shall have been toil and trouble: for it shall pass quickly, as if we flew away.

And who shall believe that thou art angry? and who shall be afraid of thy wrath?

Teach us to remember that we must die, that we may be wise.

O Lord, turn again to us, and be gracious unto thy servants.

Fill us early with thy grace, and we will glory and be glad all our days.

Now make us glad again, after that thou hast afflicted us so long, after that we have suffered misfortunes so long.

Show thy servants thy works, and thy glory to their children.

And the LORD our God be kind unto us, and promote the work of our hands among us; yea, promote the work of our hands.

Comfort in Dying.

He who sits under the umbrella of the Most High and abides under the shadow of the Almighty,

Who saith unto the LORD, My confidence and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.

For he delivereth me from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

He shall cover thee with his wings, and thy confidence shall be under his wings. His truth is shield and screen,

That thou shouldest not be afraid of the terror of the night, of the arrows that fly by day, 6. From the pestilence that creepeth in darkness, from the pestilence that wasteth in the south.

Though a thousand fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand, it shall not come upon thee.

Yea, thou shalt see thy lust with thine eyes, and shalt see it rewarded unto the wicked.

For the LORD is thy confidence, the most High is thy refuge.

No evil shall befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy tabernacle.

For he hath commanded his angels concerning thee, to keep thee in all thy ways, 12. That they bear thee up in their hands, and that thou dash not thy foot against a stone.

Thou shalt walk upon the lions and the vipers, and tread upon the young lions and dragons.

This is a good thing, to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O thou most High.

proclaim thy grace in the morning, and thy truth at night,

on the ten strings and psaltery, with playing on the harp.

For, O LORD, thou hast made me to sing joyfully of thy works, and I have glorified the works of thy hands.

O Lord, how great are thy works! Thy thoughts are so very deep.

A foolish man believeth not, and a fool regardeth not these things.

The wicked flourish as the grass, and the transgressors all flourish, until they be destroyed for ever and ever.

But thou, O LORD, art the most high, and abidest for ever.

For, lo, thine enemies, O LORD, behold, thine enemies shall perish; and all evildoers must be scattered.

But my horn shall be exalted as the horn of a unicorn, and shall be anointed with fresh oil.

And mine eye shall see his delight in mine enemies, and mine ear shall hear his delight in the
wicked that set themselves against me.

The righteous shall be green as a palm tree; he shall grow as a cedar in Lebanon.

They that are planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.
